Baytowne Wharf in Destin, FL was the perfect destination for a family vacation.
There was no entrance fee, it was clean and well staffed, and there were several cool things for kids to do.
My grandchildren, Shelton (13) and Jewel (10) completed the obstacle course, Shelton tried the Zip Line, and they both did the anti-gravity trampoline jump.
Jesslyn (3) enjoyed the carousel and the boat races.
Much fun (and many cool prizes) was had at the arcade, one of the best we have ever been to.
We had BBQ at one of the many restaurants, and the atmosphere was like that of a theme park.
They offer events every night, also free.
During our stay, there were free fireworks on Tuesday, which we watched from our room at the Residence Inn, free Live Music Wednesday, and a play and face painting for the children on Thursday.
Definitely worth a visit if you are headed to Destin.
